The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of accurate financial information, supporting month-end and year-end processes, statutory reporting, and business decision-making. This role is ideal for a recently qualified practice or industry accountant seeking to develop within an industry environment.Main Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly management accountsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activitiesAssist with the preparation for audits and liaise with auditors as requiredEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial dataReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepanciesContribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance departmentProvide financial support and advice to other departments within the businessAssist with grant funding applicationsEnsure compliance with US sales tax regulationsEnsure compliance with EU VAT regulationsAssist with HMRC auditsPrepare financial data for US statutory filingsEligibility criteria:ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (final stage studiers may be considered)Recent experience working as part of a busy accounts teamStrong understanding of financial reporting and internal controlsExperience of month-end processes and reconciliationsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applicationsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to multi-task, manage deadlines and workloadStrong organisational and time management skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention detailApplications for this role will be considered immediately with a view to placing the right individual ASAP, so please register your interest early.
