Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Litigation Partner/ Director to join a busy Dispute Resolution team. The ideal candidate will have proven success in fee generation—through client development and maintaining strong referrer relationships—and will be motivated to grow existing and new business. This role demands commercial drive, initiative and excellent client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a varied caseload, including complex commercial landlord & tenant disputes (e.g. under the 1954 Act), terminal dilapidations, boundary disputes, rights of way issues, and general property litigation (possession, sale etc.)
* Advise on and handle matters such as statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, commercial lease renewals, forfeiture, breaches of commercial lease covenants, and right of first refusal
* Supervise and mentor more junior legal staff, maintaining high quality output and client service
* Lead business development activities including acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with referrers, and expanding existing client portfolios
