About the role
The finance team at The Guinness Partnership playa critical role in the success of the organisation. With an overall aim of ensuring Guinness has a strong financial base from which we can be a high performing organisation.
We are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our income processing team to complete manual and system processes for completion statements in accordance with procedures and timetables. Support the delivery of accurate, high quality and regulatory compliant accounts receivable and income processing reconciliations and reporting across Guinness.
This is a full time, 35 hours per week, permanent role based at our Oldham, Bower House office. We are currently working to a hybrid style.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with strong experience in income processing and accounts receivable, supported by confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. You will bring excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise a varied workload, and the organisational skills needed to meet agreed deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality customer service.
You will be able to demonstrate.
Essential
* Experience and strong knowledge of income processing and accounts receivable.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Good oral and written communications.
* Proven Customer service experience.
* Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable
* Experience of using Oracle Cloud.
* Experience of using Northgate, or equivalent housing management rent accounting system.
* Experience of processing customer completion statements.
* Experience of month end processes.
* Knowledge of income and expenditure accounts and balance sheet (as appropriate).
Qualifications
Essential
* AAT or CCAB/CIMA qualification or studying towards one.
