Senior Collections Advisor Crewe, Cheshire Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) We’re looking for an experienced Senior Collections Advisor to join the growing team in Crewe. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding balances while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. You’ll handle inbound and outbound communications, negotiate payment arrangements, and work closely with internal teams to resolve queries efficiently. It’s a fast-paced, customer-focused position that requires strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills — ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys building positive customer relationships. What You’ll Do: · Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, making outbound calls and handling inbound queries. · Negotiate payment plans and resolve overdue balances in line with company policies. · Handle customer queries professionally, ensuring a positive and compliant experience. · Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and actions. · Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Collections Manager when required. · Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices and contributing to team development. · Achieve individual and team performance targets to support wider business goals. What We’re Looking For: · Minimum 1 years’ experience in collections, credit control, or customer service. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional, empathetic approach. · Strong organisational and time management skills with great attention to detail. · Knowledge of collections processes and regulatory requirements (desirable). · Confident using collections systems, CRMs, and Microsoft Office.
