Music Teacher - Maternity Cover | Trafford | £168-£232 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and qualified Music Teacher for an excellent maternity cover opportunity in Trafford.

We are working with a well-regarded and oversubscribed secondary school in Trafford, seeking a qualified teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time role within a supportive, ambitious and academically focused setting where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The Role
Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop students' performance, composition and listening skills
Assess, monitor and support student progress in line with curriculum expectations
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation and achievement
Contribute to the delivery of a broad and ambitious Music curriculum
Support extracurricular music activities, performances and enrichment opportunities where appropriate
Undertake the wider responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including pastoral duties and form tutor responsibilities

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent recognised secondary teaching qualification
Experience teaching Music within a UK secondary school setting
Ability to teach Music confidently across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE Music
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
A commitment to high-quality teaching, learning and assessment
Excellent communication and organisational skillsPlease note: This position is suitable for qualified Music Teachers and is not suitable for applicants who have music industry, performance or professional musician experience without a recognised teaching qualification.
