We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells.
HMP Five Wells is a category C resettlement prison based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, housing around 1,780 patients aged 18+. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the mental health team to develop on-site psychologist services and manage 2 Assistant Psychologists. You will also have a small caseload of patients with complex mental health needs.
Hours
The site currently offers a Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 work pattern with some flexibility.
We can offer this as a full-time or part-time role.
Salary
This position is full-time, with an annual salary up to £62,000 depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Psychologist, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the IMHT with assessment and interventions for complex patients, providing consultation/reflective practice to the team, and clinical supervision to assistant psychologists.
* Undertaking psychological assessments, supporting complex multidisciplinary formulations, and delivering psychological interventions for cases of great complexity.
* Utilising research skills for audit, policy, service development, and research within the team/service area. Supporting the development of evidence-based therapies within the integrated mental health team.

Qualifications
* Satisfactory completion of a British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training in clinical psychology.
* At least 3 years of assessed experience as a qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologist post-qualification.
* Experience in highly specialist psychological assessment and individual/group treatments across various care settings.
