Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join and lead our nurse practitioner team and services in our Outpatient Department.

It is an exciting time to join NHS Golden Jubilee University Hospital. As part of a significant investment we have expanded our hospital site to be able to offer our services to more patients across the West of Scotland. The department provides pre-operative assessment to our national elective and heart lung service to patients requiring surgery for orthopaedic, cardiac, thoracic, general and colorectal surgery.


Responsibilities

* Lead the nurse practitioner team and services in the Outpatient Department to deliver high quality, safe, effective and person-centred care.
* Provide and oversee pre-operative assessment for patients across listed specialties.


Qualifications

* Registered nurse with extensive post registration experience in the pre-operative assessment setting.
* Demonstrable management experience, leadership qualities and professional values to develop and lead the team.
