Permanent contract. This role will be on call one in every five weeks, after full training is completed.

What is the role?
In this role, you will assist our Engineering Stores Manager to deliver a safe, efficient, and resilient Engineering Stores function for London Gatwick. You will be managing Engineering and Fleet spares as well as orders for the wider Gatwick community. You will be a key part of the team responsible for ensuring that assets are ready to support our customers across London Gatwick.
What will you do?
* Accept, check and confirm supplier stock deliveries into Engineering Stores.
* Issue stock to customers and deliver across campus to various departments.
* Check and replenish Main and Forward stores areas.
* Driving and dropping multiple Deliveries around the airport campus both landside and airside
* Carry out physical stock and cycle counting processes.
* Update systems (SAP and Ultimo) to consume stock issues and make corrections as required.
* Maintain clean and tidy stores.
* On call duties for out of hours Stores cover.
Do you have what we're looking for?
* Great team player.
* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, able to connect with stakeholders across all levels.
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience of stock management
* Familiar with working in a warehouse
* Forklift Licence, Reach and Counterbalance RTIB Licence holder (desirable)
* Be comfortable using all Microsoft office applications.
