Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is essential.
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
3. Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
Responsibilities:
6. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Health and Social Care for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
8. Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
10. Participate in school-wide activities, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
