Temp–Perm Apprentice Customer Service Assistant

We are recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Brixton for a Temp–Perm Apprentice Customer Service Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in customer service within the public sector, with full training and long-term prospects.
No or minimal experience required – we’re looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing front-line customer service to residents and service users
2. Handling enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face
3. Assisting with basic administrative tasks and record keeping
4. Signposting customers to relevant departments and services
5. Working as part of a supportive customer service team
About You:
6. Friendly, polite and professional communication skills
7. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
8. Basic IT skills (training will be provided)
9. Reliable and motivated with a positive attitude
