ABOUT THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Assistant Accountant to join our finance team and support out international finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment, and wants to develop their accounting career. You will support the Finance Team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks, month‑end processes, and financial reporting. If you are proactive, organised, and eager to learn, we would love to hear from you. JOB REQUIREMENTS Process multi‑currency AP invoices, maintain supplier records, manage payment runs Raise customer invoices, allocate global receipts, and reconcile AR balances Perform daily multi‑currency bank reconciliations and support cashflow monitoring Process international payments, transfers, and FX‑related transactions Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, and currency revaluations Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (AP, AR, cash, intercompany) Assist with month‑end close and management reporting Support VAT/GST and other international tax submissions Liaise with overseas teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries Maintain financial controls and support internal/external audits Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements QUALIFICATIONS We would love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below: Studying AAT or early-stage ACCA/CIMA (or keen to start) Experience in AP/AR or general accounting Strong numerical and analytical skills Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting software Experience using Oracle is a plus but not essential Excellent attention to detail and time management Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU CORE WORKING HOURS 9am - 5pm, Monday – Friday Hybrid working model – our collab days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays BENEFITS From day one: 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) per annum Company pension scheme with Royal London Life Assurance - 24/7 life cover, 2x your basic salary Bonusly reward and recognition platform Monthly Uber Eats vouchers Free breakfast on office days 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Programme Access to Help@Hand which provides virtual GP, physio and mental health support services Office social area, which includes pool, foosball, and table tennis tables After passing probation: Medical insurance with Vitality L&D Scheme to offer further qualifications, courses and training Work from Anywhere scheme: Up to 4 weeks available per annum to work from anywhere in the world Enhanced leave policies including family leave and sickness leave ABOUT OUR VALUES We have five core values which we live and breathe by.
