TP Tutors are seeking educators who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives by achieving their academic goals and improving their attendance.\n\nThis role will require someone to work closely with students on a 1-1 basis, providing them with high-quality sessions in English and Maths, to maximise their potential, as well as improving engagement. This role will involve working with children outside of a mainstream setting.\n\nYou will be tutoring learners in their homes or local libraries, in and around Northampton.\n\nTutor Requirements:\n\nProfessional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).\nA strong subject knowledge of English and Maths, at a KS3 level.\nExperience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs\nAn Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one will be provided)\nThis role involves:\n\nPlanning, creating and delivering engaging sessions to children who are currently working below expectations.\nApplying a variety of behavioural strategies to ensure the children are engaged.\nHaving an awareness of the child’s needs and interest, using this to create a child-centred approach to learning.\nAssessing pupils, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes and planning next steps.\nBenefits of working with TP Tutors:\n\nFlexible part-time hours.\nDedicated tuition consultant and team to support you in all roles.\nExtensive CPD and upskilling opportunities.\nWeekly pay through PAYE (meaning no fees from Umbrella companies)\nOur ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme, where you can earn money by nominating your fellow colleagues for work.\nIf this opportunity sounds like something which you would really excel in, or if you want a new challenge please apply with an up to date CV.\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
