Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned by a true Cornish retail success story. Grown 100% organically from the founder’s garage, the business now turns over in excess of £2M. With an interesting product line and a customer base consisting of local, national and international sales, the business is on a promising trajectory for continued growth.
With a long-standing team of 12 passionate and driven staff, they now seek to recruit a Finance Manager / Company Bookkeeper who can take a lead role in developing the accounting function. This is a highly varied position where the successful candidate will take almost complete autonomy over accounting systems and procedures, which will call for an experienced individual with a good understanding in all areas of the finance life-cycle. This will include day-to-day bookkeeping, the production of plain-English management accounts, payroll, statutory accounting, and producing suitable year end reports for onward submission to accountants
