Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trader to join our growing team, delivering high-quality property maintenance and repair services across Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a skilled professional with a broad range of trade capabilities and a strong customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a variety of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across residential properties
Deliver multi-trade work including (but not limited to) carpentry, plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and basic electrical work
Diagnose faults and determine the most effective repair solutions
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in line with company and industry regulations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, and colleagues
Accurately record job details, materials used, and time spent
Requirements
Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or in a similar role
Strong skills across multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, decorating)
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Desirable
Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ or equivalent)
Experience working in social housing or property maintenance environments
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH, risk assessments)
