Your new role
As a Corporate Taxpliance Assistant Manager or Manager, you’ll join the Corporate & International team, supporting a wide range of clients across sectors. You’ll be responsible for managing corporate taxpliance and tax accounting projects, with opportunities to contribute to advisory work as well.Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and reviewing corporate taxputations and disclosures
2. Advising on tax treatment of exceptional items, accruals, provisions, and pension adjustments
3. Supporting clients with loss relief planning, group relief, and interest restriction calculations
4. Preparing CFC returns and deferred tax workings
5. Collaborating with other service lines to identify cross-functional opportunities
6. Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their development
7. Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
You’ll be supported by a team with deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, ensuring you have the tools and guidance to succeed.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
8. Minimum 3 years’ experience (Assistant Manager) or 4 years’ experience (Manager) in corporate taxpliance and tax accounting
9. ATT, CTA and/or ACA qualification (preferred but not essential)
10. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
11. Experience dealing directly with clients and intermediaries
12. Alphatax experience (preferred but not essential)
13. Excellent project management andmunication skills
14. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems
15. A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior staff
16. Legal right to work in the UK and relevant UK tax experience
