Job Introduction

We're now looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician (Engineer) to join our Facilities Management team at the Welsh Government BCP site.
What you’ll do:
* Maintain, repair, and install critical plant and building systems
* Deliver a mix of electrical, mechanical, and general building tasks
* Respond to emergency faults and minimise downtime
* Work with specialist contractors and integrate their work into site operations
* Take ownership of key systems such as BMS, HVAC, fire safety, and boiler control systems
What you bring:
Must-Haves:
* Recognised qualifications in HVAC (City & Guilds) and/or electrical/mechanical services
* Minimum 5 years’ hands-on engineering experience in building maintenance
* Confidence diagnosing faults and performing multi-trade repairs
* Strong understanding of statutory building requirements and asset lifecycles
* Comfortable working with digital systems (PDA/CAFM)
* Valid UK driving licence and ability to pass BPSS vetting (inc. DBS)
Bonus Points if You Have:
* HNC/HND in an engineering or building services discipline
* Asbestos awareness, CSCS certificate, or experience with PDA systems
* Additional trade skills or certifications
