Duties
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications to deliver consistent quality.
* Support the team in managing food production schedules and inventory control.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Skills
* Previous kitchen experience, preferably within a restaurant setting, is essential.
* Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Team management skills with the ability to supervise junior staff effectively.
