SF Recruitment are working with a business to recruit for a Sales Administrator on a full time permanent basis. This role would work for both candidates either based in Derbyshire or some areas of Nottingham as it's close to junction 25 on the M1. This role is 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, working 8-4:30pm and a lovely early finish on a Friday.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the following:

Sales & Customer Support

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
Prepare and issue accurate quotations for UK and international customers
Process sales orders and issue order acknowledgements and documentation
Track sales enquiries and ensure timely follow-up
Act as a key point of contact for customers and partners, delivering excellent customer service
Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal teams
Maintain accurate sales data to support forecasting and pipeline management

Internal Coordination

Liaise with international partners to support customer requirements
Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and engineering teams to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on schedule
Assist with export documentation and shipping requirements where applicable
Produce sales reports and support forecasting activities
Review visit reports, follow up on actions, and support appointment scheduling

General Administration
Assist with sales presentations, customer visits, and marketing materials
Support continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and company policies

About You
Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or customer-focused role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach
Comfortable working with multiple internal teams and international contacts
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience supporting export or international sales is an advantage but not essential
