They are now looking to hire a Marketing Analyst to play a key role in driving smarter, data-led marketing decisions. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning data into insight and insight into action, with real influence over how marketing budgets and strategies are shaped.
Key Responsibilities – Marketing Analyst
• Analyse marketing performance across brand and performance channels to improve efficiency, ROI and long-term effectiveness
• Define, track and evolve KPIs across the full customer journey
• Support testing and experimentation, including A/B testing and promotional activity, by designing measurement frameworks and evaluating results
• Improve attribution, funnel measurement and performance tracking in collaboration with marketing teams
• Use performance data, test results and marketing mix outputs to support quarterly planning, budget allocation and channel mix decisions
• Deliver customer analysis including segmentation, profiling and lifetime value modelling
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to support positioning and optimisation
• Build clear, repeatable reporting and present insight, trends and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, pricing and product teams to ensure marketing activity aligns with wider business objectives
• Support forecasting through historical analysis and forward-looking performance modelling
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis by identifying what data matters and how best to interpret it
• Translate complex data into simple, engaging narratives that can be understood across teams with different levels of marketing experience
Your background – Marketing Analyst
• At least two years’ experience in a marketing, commercial or digital analytics role
• Degree-level education or equivalent practical experience in analytics, economics, statistics, mathematics or marketing
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, SQL and ideally R/Python
• Experience analysing performance data and turning insight into clear, practical recommendations
• Curious, proactive and commercially minded, with a strong focus on efficiency and impact
• Comfortable presenting insight and influencing decisions across non-technical teams
Desirable experience
• Exposure to data warehousing platforms such as Databricks
• Experience using data visualisation tools such as QuickSight or similar
• Familiarity with marketing platforms including Google Analytics
• Knowledge of marketing mix modelling or advanced marketing effectiveness techniques
• Strong Excel skills and experience using PowerPoint to communicate insight visually
