Overview
We are building our kitchen team at the Bell, in Fetcham. We are introducing a pizza kitchen to our garden and are looking for a Sous Chef or Senior CDP to join us and take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
* Champion excellent service through quality food
* Lead and develop a team while working as an active hands-on Chef
* Manage the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively at all times
* Design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials in collaboration with the Head Chef
* Demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour controls
* Drive sales and growth by engaging with both kitchen and front-of-house teams

Qualifications
* Existing Sous Chef or Senior CDP looking for the next step
* Natural leader with a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment
* Experience championing excellent service through quality food
* Proven ability to lead and develop a team
* A hands-on Chef with excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
* Creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials
* Strong planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour controls
* Pro-active approach to driving sales and engaging with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
