We are looking for a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Full-Time Shop Assistant at our convenience store. As a Shop Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service, ensure the store is well-stocked and clean, and handle daily operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and assist customers with their purchases in a friendly and helpful manner.
* Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure products are displayed correctly.
* Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
* Assist with inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed.
* Follow store policies and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic math and cash-handling skills.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
