TSA Riley West Midlands, United Kingdom. We are seeking to strengthen our project management team in the Midlands by hiring a Senior Project Manager in our Birmingham office. You will work on exciting, large-scale projects in Birmingham and have room for career development.
We are partnered with several clients providing project management services on developments including large-scale, high-rise residential projects in the city centre, plus a diverse Midlands portfolio across multiple sectors of the built environment.
As Senior Project Manager within our team, you would have the opportunity to apply your skills on TSA Riley's largest and most complex projects, working closely with clients to provide the highest level of service. There is a clear pathway for growth within TSA Riley.

Key tasks and responsibilities
* Working as part of a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers whilst reporting into the Midlands leadership team.
* Ensure our client(s) achieve their stated objectives through close teamwork, proactive risk and programme controls and the provision of contractual advice.
* Prepare full tender documentation for consultant or contractor appointments, in line with TSA Riley requirements, and present these to the client for review and comment.
* Administer the tender processes for consultant and contractor appointments.
* Provide or obtain advice on contractors, specialists, procurement routes, cost and programme solutions and present to the client.
* Act as an Employers Agent on behalf of our clients.
* Administer or manage cost/variation procedures as applicable under the relevant Appointment or Contract.
* Attend and/or chair meetings in line with appointment provisions.
* Prepare financial and progress reports for the client, ensuring their data requirements are included.
* Instigate value engineering and standardisation processes to optimise efficiency for TSA Riley and the client.
* Propose innovative initiatives on service delivery for TSA Riley management consideration.
* Prepare development and delivery programmes in Microsoft Project, ensuring key deliverable objectives are understood and reported adequately.
Desired qualifications and experience
* A relevant degree or masters qualification in construction project management or a similar subject.
* Membership of a reputable professional body such as RICS or CIOB is desirable.
* Ability to autonomously carry out a full range of pre and post contract duties from conception through to final accounting.
* Strong client facing and stakeholder engagement skills; experience leading project management and delivering high-quality outcomes.
* Proven ability to work on large-scale construction projects within the built environment.
* Experience on large-scale, high-rise residential projects and the build-to-rent sector is desirable, but candidates from similar large-scale projects in comparable sectors are welcome.
* Familiarity with common forms of contract such as JCT and NEC and strong contract administration skills.
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in common software packages and keeping up-to-date with latest tools.
