We are looking for graduates for our Intelligent Infrastructure team in various services and locations. You will work in a collaborative environment applying your skills for a diverse range of clients and projects within a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy.

Projects and teams
Our Intelligent Infrastructure team focuses on improving the operational and safety performance of transportation networks, including human-centered design, connectivity, cyber security, and zero emission vehicles. Projects may include major schemes and public sector initiatives across highways and rail.

Day-to-day activities
Roles include applying human factors, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, user profiling, and supporting client proposals. Specific activities vary by discipline within the Intelligent Infrastructure teams:
* Human Centered Design: applying ergonomic and behavioral insights to transportation projects; conducting research design, execution and reporting; identifying user needs
* Policy Monitoring & Evaluation: supporting multi-disciplinary evaluations, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and coordinating with internal teams
* Tunnel Systems & Operations: producing design drawings and documentation; preparing for meetings; conducting industry research; collaborating with subject matter experts; site inspections
* Systems & Infrastructure: delivering road network technology and traffic control solutions; testing new technologies
* Lighting & Energy Solutions: data analysis, stakeholder engagement, reporting on carbon and cost/benefit; lighting and electrical design in CAD
As a Graduate, you will support public sector clients in highways and rail with digital projects, infrastructure design standards, and research to inform public strategy and policy at local and national levels.
Graduate Development Programme and timeline
Two-year Graduate Development programme featuring blended learning, core business and professional skills training, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience. You will be supported to pursue chartered status with professional bodies such as the IET or ILP.
What we will be looking for
You should have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. You may also review our Graduate brochure or Graduate website for details on areas of business relevance. The recruitment process includes completing the application form, an online skill enabler assessment, and targeting start dates in April or September 2026. You will need a passion for engineering and consulting, and an interest in complex and safety-critical systems.
