We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school community in Wigan from September 2025. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing, inclusive environment. About the role: Start-date: 1 st September Ongoing/long-term 3 days a week (days to be confirmed) Opportunity to earn £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience) As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum, helping to prepare classroom materials and create an engaging learning environment. You’ll work with small groups or individual pupils—particularly those needing extra support—and may assist children with special educational needs in line with tailored learning plans. Your role will also involve encouraging positive behaviour, fostering pupil confidence, and contributing to the overall wellbeing and progress of the children.
