Water Compliance Services Ltd (WCS) is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves managing and developing our growing work commitments from our loyal customer base.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to grow with our company.
This varied role covers all aspects of water compliance tasks, including Legionella control, water treatment, and water regulation compliance works. Responsibilities include:
1. Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections
2. Pipework alterations and pre-commission disinfections for new and existing buildings
3. Disinfection of newly installed mains water
4. Flushing and treatment of closed heating and chilled water systems to BSRIA BG29 standards
5. Closed system analysis using our in-house test kit
6. Water sampling for Legionella, bacterial, and closed systems
7. Servicing thermostatic mixer valves
8. Cleaning, descaling, and disinfecting domestic and emergency showers and eye washes
9. Remedial plumbing works, including removal of deadleg pipework and plumbing alterations
10. Assisting with Legionella monitoring visits as needed
11. Cooling tower cleaning and disinfection
12. Cooling tower water treatment analysis
Our work is primarily based in Yorkshire, but we serve customers nationwide. Travel is occasionally required, averaging 1-2 days per month, with prior notice. Weekend work may be necessary but is minimal and usually avoids Sundays.
