*We are recruiting for a full time Senior Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner and require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We will pay a competitive rate of pay depending on experience.*Responsibilities will include ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, stimulating, caring and child-centered learning environment.The successful individual will have the following qualifications, training and experience:* Minimum HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification and be able to register with SSSC.* Have experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking learning experiences both indoors and out that support children’s learning and development.* Have knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence* Have knowledge of GIRFEC and Building/Realising the AmbitionThe Nursery is open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8pm, our core hours are 8am - 6pm shifts will vary within these times.Job Type: Full-timePay: From £12.80 per hourBenefits:* Company pensionAbility to commute/relocate:* Kilmarnock KA1 1RX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:* Nursery: 1 year (preferred)* Childcare: 1 year (preferred)* Management: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
