Oxford Lifelong Learning in the Department for Continuing Education is seeking to appoint a Catering Supervisor to join our Catering Team. About the role A hands-on position in a friendly, supportive catering team. You’ll oversee day-to-day and work in the catering operations, support service delivery for events and conferences, and maintain high standards of customer care across multiple sites. You will work an average of 5 days out of 7, 36.5 hours per week. The normal hours of operation of the catering area are from 7am to 10.30pm, with occasional events that exceed these hours. This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract. Key responsibilities: • Supervise the day-to-day catering operations across Rewley House and Ewert House, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. • Support and motivate catering staff, providing guidance and ensuring effective teamwork. • Assist in organising and delivering catering for events, conferences, and daily service. • Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth service delivery. • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering areas.
