Overview:
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, operational efficiency, and business partnering during a time of transformation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate monthly accounts and conduct variance analysis
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
* Lead and develop a team of six finance professionals
* Drive process improvements and financial controls
* Collaborate with departments to support decision-making
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
About You:
* Professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience of MS Dynamics 365 would be a benefit
* Experience in a similar finance role; manufacturing experience a plus
* Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage deadlines and support change in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to travel occasionally and work in a global setting
