We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Butcher Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our butcher shop. Duties
* Supervise daily operations of the butcher shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock to maintain optimal supplies.
* Oversee food preparation and butchery processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
* Train and mentor staff in butchery techniques, food preparation, and customer service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in food production, with a strong background in butchery and culinary practices.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
