Where you’ll be working
At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN – one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value‑added engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients while ensuring all processes are followed to keep outstanding cash within targets.
* Timely cash collection and accurate valuation of work are key, alongside supporting weekly and monthly CVRs.
* Help manage suppliers and subcontractors, drive performance improvements, and oversee Early Warning and Compensation Events.
* Present productivity insights to support tender compliance and engage in positive client negotiations around unit rates and KPIs.
* Monitor contract KPIs and implement smart changes to continuously enhance performance and deliver value with care and precision.
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.
* Strong commercial awareness and proven success in construction roles.
* Expert in Standard Forms of Contract and Methods of Measurement.
* Solid grasp of programming techniques and project controls.
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Brings professionalism, insight, and a collaborative spirit to every project.
