Domestic Gas and Heat Pump Engineer
£38k-£42k Basic Salary + Company Van + Pension + Benefits
Location - Fareham / Portsmouth / Hampshire
Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas / Heat Pump Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours within the Building Services industry, and with the opportunity to progress into your Commercial Gas ACS.
The role is covering the Hampshire area, therefore you will need to live local to Portsmouth, Fareham or Southampton and to be considered.
Job Summary:
Servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems, primarily in a commercial setting.
Diagnosing faults and performing maintenance on heating systems.
Working on renewable heating systems - especially air source heat pumps (training provided if needed).
Typical clients and contracts include Schools, Colleges, MOD Contracts etc.
Form part of a call out rota which is 1 week in 4, however very rare to be called out. (additional standby payment when on call, plus overtime rates and paid door to door).Key Skills Required:
Gas Safe Registered with proven domestic experience - Domestic Gas certificates, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 etc.
Strong plumbing skills and experience in domestic systems
Ideally, experience with or interest in Air Source Heat Pumps
Full UK driving licencePackage Includes:
£38k-£42k Base Salary (depending on experience)
40 Hour Week - 08:00-16:30
