We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join our vibrant team at a prestigious secondary school in Leeds. This full-time position is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact on student's language learning journey.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages
3. Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French, German, or Spanish
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
6. Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
7. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to student's diverse learning needs and abilities
8. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected
9. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding
10. Assess student's progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
11. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive MFL curriculum that aligns with school objectives
12. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities to enhance teaching practice
