You will be joining a committed team of practitioners within the curriculum area of Access to Higher Education and Teacher Training. The post will involve the delivery and assessment of a portfolio of courses in Teacher Education, undertaking individual tutorials and actively participating in curriculum development. Course Leadership and internal verification responsibilities will also be involved in the job role. Main Duties for this role include To teach on a range of programmes at all levels, including preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans and preparation, lesson delivery and marking of course work. To take tutorial responsibility for students, including pre-course assessment, their enrolment, induction, pastoral care and review of progress. To participate in and to contribute to curriculum development and review, including the development and introduction of new courses. To liaise with external agencies, including validating bodies, employers and placement providers. To take personal and professional responsibility for keeping up-to-date in Teacher Education.
