Quality Inspector – Ferndown
Salary: £32,000–£35,000

The Quality Inspector will join a well-established precision engineering team in Ferndown, supporting inspection and quality control for a variety of components and assemblies. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that each part meets the high standards customers expect, while helping to refine and improve current processes.
Key responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:
Program and operate CMMs to inspect components
Use hand tools to take accurate measurements
Work from technical drawings to check compliance with specifications
Complete FAIRs and other quality documentation
Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and workflows
Flexible working hours, with a choice of a 4 or 5 day week
Essential skills for the Quality Inspector:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector
Proficiency with CMM programming and operation
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerance measurement
High attention to detail and methodical approach
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
