Lacey’s client in Hertfordshire has an exciting opportunity for a small animal Vet surgeon to join their friendly and welcoming practice.
•A competitive salary of up to £60,000 (DOE).
•Full-time position, 4 days per week.
•Shared weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays and Sundays.
•No OOH or overnight in patient checks.
•No on call duty.
The practice is based on a retail park, offering a fantastic working location, as well as having all the usual equipment and plenty of onsite parking. Additionally, there is excellent transport links to London, ideal for those looking to venture further afield, with the city close by.
The existing team consists of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, 1 VCA and 2 Receptionists. They all play a vital part in running this busy first opinion practice, with a possibility for you to join them and work up a range of interesting cases. As a team they encourage case discussions to broaden horizons for all of them.
Any level of experience will be welcomed, despite having a fast-moving environment team support is always available. They are considering applications from experience vets looking for quality of life or someone who is looking to expand their skills with ample support to provide.
As mentioned before this is a full-time position working 4-day weeks, a shared weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays and Sundays with 3 days off following any weekend rota shift as well as one 3-day weekend per shift rotation, therefore an excellent work/life balance is achievable.
