We are looking for committed EYFS Practitioners/Educators in Newcastle and surrounding areas to complement our team of educators.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
* Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
* Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
* Implement the daily routine
* When directed, plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff
* Assist children in personal/intimate care
* Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
* Liaise with parents/carers of children only when directed by a school’s class teacher
* Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times
* Ensure the provision of a high‑quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
Minimum Essential Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Minimum of 2 references
* Enhanced DBS clearance
Experience / Qualifications
* Hold a qualification that meets the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications and includes staffing ratios
Work Related Circumstances
