Overview
Our client is a leading SaaS and technology company, building innovative solutions for Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning. They’re looking to hire an experienced Linux Engineer with experience across Ansible, Packer and AWS.
2 days a week in the office, hybrid, initial 6 months, inside IR35 and paying up to £700+ per day.
Responsibilities
* From day one you’ll be involved in the design, build, implementation and support of innovative Linux systems with a focus on availability, performance, reliability, and security - From bare-metal through to virtualisation, AWS Cloud and automation.
* You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, tools and technologies and have real ownership of your work – A very varied challenge!
Requirements
* Proven experience of Linux administration and engineering
* Great understanding of RPM packaging, systems, networking and storage
* Good knowledge of AWS
* Knowledge of Ansible and DevOps methods
* Excellent communication skills and a motivated, proactive, approach to work
* The ability to take the lead on work and drive projects forwards
