Overview
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with interest in Gynaeoncology, to join our multidisciplinary team at the University Hospital of Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment committed to delivering high quality care.
The post holder will work within both University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough, supported by the friendly consultant team, and they will be able to gain experience specifically in gynaeoncology for a year. The Gynaeoncology unit in the University Hospital of Wales is an ESGO accredited training centre.
The post holder will be given dedicated time around on-call duties to further their clinical experience in Gynaeoncology. The post holder will also have the opportunity for experiencing and learning about the UK colposcopy programme. The post holder will be expected to participate in audit and join in the educational programme of the unit in addition to participating in the on call rota (registrar on call, EWTD compliant).
The post holder will be provided with experience in a high-volume, multidisciplinary oncology unit, protected time for education and professional development, mentorship from experienced oncology consultants and access to teaching programmes.

Qualifications and requirements
Essential
* Full current GMC Registration with licence to practice
* MRCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists)
Previous experience
* Experience of working at ST5+ within the United Kingdom
* Experience of working within Oncology surgery
* Understanding of the principles of clinical governance
* Information technology skills

* Ability to work in stressful situations and to cope with stress
