Company Accountant

Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich are proud to be working exclusively with a Norwich based company to recruit for a Company Accountant to join this growing business to build and manage the finance function.
As the successful candidate will be working closely with the managing director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance candidate with strong management accounting and reporting skills to join an exciting and growing business and play a fundamental part in its development.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
* Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.
* Prepare budgets and report on variances.
* Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
* Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
* Manage staff and contractor payroll, including monthly and weekly pension submissions.
* Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.
* Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
* Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development as the company grows.
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
* Process and pay supplier invoices.
* Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.
* Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Part or fully qualified accountant.
* Experience in management accounting.
* Payroll experience.
* Proficiency in cloud accounting software.
