About the role As a Primary Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will: Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences within early years (0-5 years) Support with physical care routines, e.g. changing nappies, toilet training and meal times, etc. Work closely with pupils, including those with SEN Provide in-class support, small group work and one-to-one interventions Help promote pupils’ wellbeing, independence and confidence Support learning activities, behaviour, and inclusion across the primary phase Participate fully in academy life, including training days, trips and professional development Undertake a Early Years apprenticeship (Level 2) alongside your role Provide classroom cover when required and play an active part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. What we’re looking for You need to have: GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) A genuine passion for working with children Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and equal opportunities Willingness to work towards a Early Years qualification (Level 2) It would be a bonus if you already have: Experience working with children in a school or educational setting We are looking for someone who shares the Oasis ethos and our commitment to nurturing every child’s potential.
