Overview
HGV Class 2 Driver – Home delivery. Barton Upon Humber. £16.00 per hour / £39,936 per year (48 hours).
Temp to perm Class 2 position. Newly qualified drivers accepted.
Responsibilities
* Home delivery of kitchens (physically demanding role).
* Work as a 2-man crew; porter to contact customers with ETAs and record deliveries.
* Deliveries must be made within the delivery time window and to the customer’s room of choice.
* All products must be scanned; report any parking issues to delivery support or transport office with a record.
* Be aware of vehicle cameras (7 cameras: 5 around, 2 in the back) and follow training.
* Vehicles are loaded overnight; you will unload at the delivery point.
* Strong timekeeping is essential; start times between 4am and 6am (own transport required).
* Shifts can be up to 12 hours; average hours typically 48 per week; OT paid on a 6th shift only.
* Comply with health and safety, scanning, and delivery procedures; record any notes as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Maximum of 6 points on driving licence. No DD, CU80, or IN endorsements.
* DBS required.
* Own transport required for early start times.
* Full UK HGV Class 2 entitlement (or pending qualification acceptable for newly qualified drivers).
