Following the retirement of our current Clinical Director, who has played an integral part of developing our services to where they are today we are now looking replace this role with someone who’s excited to be part of the next stage of the Derian House journey, focusing on our Care Services, in the role of Director of Integrated Care. This new role will work closely with our Chief Nurse and new Director of Children and Family Services, shaping the growth of our Care Services for our current and future babies, children and young adults. This is a unique opportunity, to: Grow and expand care services so we can reach even more babies, children and young people Lead and inspire a passionate, multi-skilled team offering in-house care and community care services Maintain robust care pathways and clinical governance structures which ensure compliance with regulatory standards Drive continuous improvement and champion a culture of excellence in clinical practice You will be an experienced and visionary leader, with a proven track record in children’s clinical care, ideally gained in a hospice or palliative care environment. Hours: 37.5 or 30 hours per week, usually working Monday to Friday but with some flexibility to meet service needs. Location: Derian House Children’s Hospice, Chancery Road, Chorley, PR7 1DH. Selection and Assessment process: This will be a 2 stage process; initial preliminary 20 minute discussion, held virtually, (MS Teams) and then for those who we decide to progress there will be an onsite face to face assessment and interview. We anticipate the processes will take place during January 2026.
