We are seeking a creative and detail-orientated Content Writer to develop informative and engaging content for print including product descriptions, digital platforms including websites and social media and online marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with our marketing team to create content that aligns with our client's brand voice and marketing goals. SEO Content Writer (full time contract, 37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day production of SEO focused content including creative and engaging product descriptions on our growing portfolio of Ecommerce website. Researching our world-famous brands will be vital in creating informative and original content, as well as optimising category and landing page copy to improve overall SEO performance.
This role is suitable for someone with a degree level writing qualification, who is passionate and enjoys writing, but is looking for a place to apply it. Relevant on the job SEO training will be given, however a flair for writing is imperative. The individual will be responsible for writing compelling narratives, ensuring content is clear and concise, factually and grammatically correct and accurate.
Main Duties:
* Product descriptions for candle, home fragrance and personal care products
* Copywriting in line with article/content requests.
* Writing content for our blogs.
* Writing and proof-reading copy for websites and social media.
* PR to support brand collections, new arrivals and marketing campaigns/ promotions.
* Searching, analysing and approaching relevant websites in order to build up site partnerships.
* Keyword research using SEO tools.

* Ability to adapt writing style to match the audience/circumstance.
* Excellent written & communication skills.
* Proven experience of creating outstanding written content.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* A thirst for Digital Marketing & SEO, and a willingness to learn.
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience within the candles, toiletry and home fragrance industry
* Previous SEO experience.
* Ecommerce experience.
* Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, SEMrush, MOZ, AHREFS.
