Our new strategic plan and transformed senior leadership team create an exciting time to join a digitally enabled modern university. Reported to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, leading an innovative, customer‑centric IT service toward greater digital maturity and operational efficiency and driving mission‑critical technology projects. You will also create and lead a long‑term digital investment strategy in partnership with senior academic and professional services colleagues.
Responsibilities

* Lead and deliver mission‑critical technology projects and initiatives.
* Create and lead a long‑term digital investment strategy in partnership with senior academic and professional services colleagues.
* Balance strategic and operational imperatives, integrating advanced technology thinking with technical requirements, governance and service efficiency.
* Develop and manage high‑performing multidisciplinary teams of professional staff.
Qualifications
* Substantial leadership experience in digital services within large, complex organisations.
* Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams of professional staff.
* Proven success in developing high‑performing teams and customer‑focused services.
* Technical expertise, with a relevant degree or professional qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and strategic influencing skills.
* Awareness of higher‑education sector issues and commitment to the University’s mission, vision and values.
* Commitment to inclusive workplace and student‑experience practices.
