Main duties of the job
Recognizeand promote the role of advocacy, autonomy, and self-empowerment in the care ofyoung people and their families and ensure promotion of the recovery modelwithin the team.
Enablejoint delivery of specialist mental health education to Acute Trust staff toincrease awareness, empower and enable, promote the specialist skills of childmental health professionals with the aim of improving the service userexperience.
Workjointly with the Team Managers and ensure the links between CAMHS Mental HealthLiaison and Community CAMHS teams are maintained and developed.
Assessall children and young people who attend Emergency Department or are on thePaediatric Ward and to make appropriate clinical decisions on the treatment andmanagement.
Ensurethe safe and effective delivery of high-quality health and social care topatients, utilizing the knowledge and skills of the staff whilst recognisingand helping to manage their stress in this demanding area of work.

Qualifications
* HCPC Registration.
* MN/OT/Social Worker with mental health training.
Experience
* Experience as a Band 7, or equivalent, Mental Health professional.
