Ably Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major onshore industrial project based in Grangemouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary project team delivering modifications and upgrades within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, review and implementation of electrical distribution systems and site network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of electrical engineering activities across all project phases. Review and develop electrical designs for industrial power distribution systems. Work on site networks up to 11kV, including substations, transformers, switchgear and cable systems. Assess existing electrical infrastructure and develop solutions for network modifications and upgrades. Review electrical calculations, single line diagrams, cable schedules and technical specifications. Liaise with project engineers, contractors, operations teams and other engineering disciplines. Support installation, commissioning and start-up activities where required. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and site procedures. Requirements Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience working on industrial site networks up to 11kV. Experience within onshore industrial environments such as: Chemical Petrochemical Manufacturing Energy Process Industries Strong understanding of: Electrical distribution systems HV/LV switchgear Transformers Cable systems Protection systems Substations Experience working on brownfield projects within operational facilities is highly desirable. xxuwjjq Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team.
