We’re partnering with a well-known, product-led SaaS scale-up — a platform you’ve likely used — to hire a Director of Product Design. This is a pivotal role shaping how humans and AI agents collaborate across complex workflows while elevating design quality across a large, mission-critical product.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 8-10 Senior Product Designers, a UX writer and a design system expert
* Setting a clear design vision across human + agent workflows
* Partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership on strategic initiatives
* Building healthy design rituals (critiques, reviews, async feedback loops)
* Influencing product direction through systems thinking and high-quality interaction design
We’re specifically looking for design leaders who’ve built and led teams within well-known, product-led SaaS companies — scale-ups or platforms with strong product and design cultures, and who remain close enough to the craft rather than operating purely at a strategic level.

Remote-first in the UK, with travel to European offices every few months
