HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – SEN Experience Required | Northampton | Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA with SEN experience to join a supportive and inclusive school in Northampton, with an immediate start available.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
The Role:
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom, including leading lessons when required
* Work closely with students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs
* Deliver targeted interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Proven experience working with students with SEN
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
