Job Description:
The Role
To lead, develop, coordinate, and implement a safe and effective specialised clinical pharmacy service to a specific or general patient population, including prescribing as an independent prescriber. To manage and provide leadership to identified pharmacists and technicians in the HSCP. Provision of professional and highly specialist prescribing advice to the extended Primary Care team.

Qualifications and Experience Required
* Masters Degree of Pharmacy or equivalent
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Relevant postgraduate pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience
* Independent prescriber or undertaking the course
* Leadership and managerial experience in a clinical setting
* Demonstrated competence as a clinical practitioner
* Knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice and legislation
* Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and process complex information
* Proven negotiation, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and evaluate own work
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving license and access to a car
Contract Details
Various Contract Options, Part Time, 22.5 hours. Salary will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
Based in Prescribing Management Team within NHS Lanarkshire. Working pattern to be confirmed.
