Kiddikins Nursery is a small lively community nursery situated in the north of Hartlepool and we are looking for an inspiring adult to join our friendly team. The position advertised is for maternity cover, however this could be a roll-on position depending on the return of the practitioner. Kiddikins Nursery is Ofsted accredited OUTSTANDING, and so will the support provided to you by the nursery team to enable you to settle in a develop your role, however you will have to have a full and relevant early years qualification at a least level 3, with proven experience working within a nursery/ early years setting and be able to meet the criteria below: Childcare and Safety: Nursery nurses are responsible for the overall safety and well-being of children in their care. This includes maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising children at all times, and ensuring that all activities are conducted safely. Development Support: They play a crucial role in supporting children's emotional, social, and cognitive development. Creating a Nurturing Environment: Nursery nurses create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel secure and comfortable. Nursery nurses communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that may arise. Individualized Care: They work with children from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages, providing individualized care and attention to meet each child's unique needs.
